Metafolin® is a patented natural formula of methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF). 5-MTHF is the predominant natural form of folate commonly found in cells. Unlike synthetic folic acid, 5-MTHF can be used directly by the body, without the need for further conversion through the MTHFR enzyme. In certain populations, the body's ability to convert folic acid into 5-MTHF via this enzyme may be compromised due to genetic differences.

In addition, folate supports normal blood and amino acid production and contributes to the growth of maternal tissue (placenta and uterus) during pregnancy.

How to Use: 1 Capsule per day or according to medical prescription
