Betaine HCl is a mixture of betaine and acid-stable vegan proteases to support the breakdown of proteins from food. The mixture is rounded off with prickly pear and olive leaf extract.
Betaine is a component of gastric juice and is essential for the enzymatic conversion of food. For this task, the stomach produces between one and two liters of gastric juice every day, which consists mainly of hydrochloric acid and protein-splitting enzymes (proteases).
