This super formula combines the beneficial cholesterol-lowering effects of Kyolic® Aged Garlic Extract™ with plant phytosterols that exert a cholesterol-lowering function by inhibiting its absorption in the intestines. The recommended daily dose of this product provides 800 mg of plant phytosterols. Recently the EFSA (European Food Safety Agency) approved health claims for plant phytosterols, which indicate that “Consumption of at least 800 mg of plant phytosterols per day contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.”
