Phytoprofen® combines four plant-derived ingredients with a long tradition of use. Bromelain is an enzyme complex extracted from pineapple, traditionally used in the context of recovery after physical exertion or minor injury. Phytosomal curcumin is obtained from the turmeric root in a complex with sunflower phospholipids, a format that can facilitate its integration into the body. Ginger extract, standardized in gingerols, is an ingredient with a marked presence in traditional medicine for digestive and muscular well-being. Boswellia extract (or Indian frankincense), standardized in boswellic acids, is another botanical with a long history of traditional use for the body's balance.

All active ingredients are of botanical origin. The excipients are the hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule (derived from cellulose, of plant origin) and leucine. The formula does not contain gluten, soy, dairy products, lactose or animal gelatin — the capsule is entirely vegetable.
