Phytoprofen® combines four plant-based ingredients with a long tradition of use. Bromelain is an enzyme complex extracted from pineapple, traditionally used in the context of recovery after physical exertion or minor injury. Phytosome curcumin is obtained from turmeric root in a complex with sunflower phospholipids, a format that can facilitate its integration into the body. Ginger extract, standardized to gingerols, is an ingredient with a strong presence in traditional medicine for supporting digestive and muscle wellness. Boswellia extract (or Indian frankincense), standardized to boswellic acids, is another botanical with a long history of traditional use for body balance.
All active ingredients are of botanical origin. Excipients are the hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule (cellulose-derived, plant-based) and leucine. The formula contains no gluten, soy, dairy products, lactose, or animal gelatin — the capsule is entirely vegetable.
