WHC is a Belgian brand founded by Jo Wyckmans, specializing in ultra-pure and highly concentrated omega-3 supplements. Its UnoCardio line is one of the most recognized in the world, having been distinguished several times by independent organizations.

Why WHC stands out

EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart (with 250 mg per day). WHC oils stand out for three reasons: up to 95% omega-3 concentration, the r-triglyceride (rTG) form — the same natural form found in fish, better absorbed than ethyl esters — and a cold CO₂ extraction process, which preserves the fatty acids.

Certified purity

WHC oils are IFOS 5-star certified (which attests to purity, concentration, and absence of contaminants) and come from sustainable fisheries (Friend of the Sea certification), from small species such as sardines, anchovies, and mackerel. Many formulas also include vitamin D3.

It is the r-triglyceride form, similar to the natural form of omega-3 in fish. It tends to be better absorbed than the ethyl ester form, common in more affordable concentrated oils. WHC produces its oils in rTG.

Thanks to the high concentration, one capsule per day is usually sufficient. The effect on the heart is achieved with 250 mg of EPA+DHA; for normal triglycerides, with 2 g. Do not exceed 5 g of EPA+DHA daily. Follow the label.
