What is vitex?
Vitex agnus-castus, also known as chaste tree or chasteberry, is a Mediterranean shrub whose fruits have been traditionally used for centuries.
What is DIM?
DIM is the acronym for diindolylmethane, a compound formed in the body from indole-3-carbinol, found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and turnip greens. In supplements, it appears isolated and in much higher doses than those obtained through diet.
What is the difference between evening primrose oil and borage oil?
These are two vegetable oils that contain gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid. Evening primrose oil comes from the seeds of Oenothera biennis and typically has 8 to 10% GLA; borage oil, from the seeds of Borago officinalis, reaches 20 to 24%.
