HOP Biologics Vitamin D3 is a high-dose vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) food supplement, providing 100 µg (4000 IU) per capsule, dissolved in extra virgin olive oil.

The body produces vitamin D through exposure of the skin to sunlight, but the time of year, age, the use of sunscreen, or limited time spent outdoors can reduce this production. Vitamin D may contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system, to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth and muscle function, and to the normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus.
