Sodium butyrate delayed-release capsules — NutriNed

Butyflam Coated by NutriNed is a food supplement of sodium butyrate, presented in delayed-release capsules (coated DR-caps), in a pack of 180 capsules. Each capsule contains 500 mg of sodium butyrate (3000 mg per 6 capsules). Butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid naturally produced by gut bacteria from the fermentation of dietary fibre; sodium butyrate is its stable salt form. The capsule coating is designed to pass through the stomach before releasing its contents.

Ingredients

  • Sodium butyrate — 500 mg per capsule. The sodium salt of butyric acid, a short-chain fatty acid.
  • Microcrystalline cellulose — bulking agent.
  • Silicon dioxide — anti-caking agent.

Minimalist formula, with no artificial colours, preservatives or flavourings. Hypoallergenic product, free from all 14 allergens that must be declared in the EU (Annex II of Regulation (EU) 1169/2011).
