Bromelain is a group of proteolytic enzymes extracted from pineapple (Ananas comosus). An enzyme that acts on proteins is called proteolytic. Papaya (Carica papaya) provides papain, another enzyme of plant origin. Pineapple powder adds the whole fruit.
Grape extract (Vitis vinifera) is obtained from pomace and contains sulphites. The capsule is made of fish gelatin, so the formula is not suitable for vegetarians. To maintain the integrity of the formula, the capsule should be swallowed whole.
