Nutergia's Ergypaina Plus is a food supplement in capsules with bromelain, pineapple powder, and papaya and grape extracts. Bromelain and papain are proteolytic enzymes of plant origin, extracted respectively from pineapple and papaya. In this formula, a dose of 4 capsules provides 620 mg of bromelain, the highest value in the composition, accompanied by 200 mg of papaya extract, 140 mg of pineapple powder and 80 mg of grape extract. It should be taken away from meals, two hours before or an hour and a half after, and the capsule must not be opened.
Bromelain is a set of proteolytic enzymes obtained from pineapple (Ananas comosus). An enzyme that acts on proteins is called proteolytic, which is the reason why bromelain is also used in the food industry. Here it appears as the main ingredient, at 620 mg per 4 capsules.
Papaya (Carica papaya) provides papain, another proteolytic enzyme of plant origin. Pineapple powder adds the fruit in its whole form, and grape extract (Vitis vinifera) is obtained from the pomace, the solid part that remains after pressing.
