Ecogenetics Liponutrientes is a food supplement in capsule form, in a pack of 90 capsules, combining plant extracts, fibre, omega-3 fatty acids and two vitamins. It may suit adults who want to complement their diet with niacin and vitamin E alongside a selection of plant-based ingredients. Niacin may contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal energy-yielding metabolism; vitamin E may contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Ingredients

  • Red yeast rice extract — 300 mg, standardised to 5% monacolins. Rice fermented with the yeast Monascus purpureus, traditional in Asian cooking.
  • Yeast beta-glucans (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) — 201 mg, 75% beta-1,3/1,6-glucans.
  • Garlic bulb dry extract — 180 mg, 50:1 extract with 1% allicin.
  • Psyllium (Plantago ovata) — 150 mg of seed powder, a plant fibre.
  • Omega-3 — 150 mg, of which 36 mg DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
  • Phytosterols — 94.74 mg of a blend with 95% beta-sitosterol, campesterol and stigmasterol.
  • Policosanol — 30.61 mg, extracted from sugar cane stalk wax (Saccharum officinarum), with 98% octacosanol.
  • Niacin (vitamin B3) — 30 mg, as nicotinamide (188% NRV).
  • Vitamin E — 12 mg D-alpha-tocopherol (100% NRV), in a mixed tocopherol blend.
