Dual-release melatonin 1.5 mg capsules — Life Extension

Life Extension Melatonin IR/XR is a melatonin food supplement in a pack of 60 capsules. Each capsule provides 1.5 mg of MicroActive® melatonin and combines two release forms: immediate (IR, immediate release) and extended (XR, extended release). It may suit adults looking for a simple step before bedtime or who travel across time zones. Melatonin may contribute to the reduction of time taken to fall asleep, an effect obtained by consuming 1 mg close to bedtime, and to the alleviation of subjective feelings of jet lag, with an intake of at least 0.5 mg close to bedtime on the first day of travel and on the following few days after arrival.

Ingredients

  • Melatonin (MicroActive®) — 1.5 mg per capsule. Melatonin is a substance produced naturally by the body, mainly at night. MicroActive® Melatonin is a trademark of Bioactives LLC.

Other components: microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, sodium alginate, carnauba wax and silica; gelatin capsule. Non-GMO and gluten-free.
