Zeinpharma Green-Lipped Mussel is a Perna canaliculus powder, a New Zealand-farmed mollusc, presented as a 5:1 extract standardised to 2% glycosaminoglycans (GAG). Each vegetable capsule contains 500 mg, and the daily dose of 3 capsules provides 1500 mg. The 90-capsule pack corresponds to 30 days of use.

The green-lipped mussel gets its name from the green colour of the shell's edge and is traditionally consumed by the coastal peoples of New Zealand. The powder is freeze-dried and encapsulated using only a vegetable capsule, without magnesium stearate. It is manufactured in Germany, and the capsules can be opened, with the powder taken directly with meals.
