Zeinpharma NAC N-acetylcysteine provides 750 mg of N-acetyl-L-cysteine per vegetable capsule. NAC is the acetylated form of the amino acid L-cysteine and provides the body with sulphur through the diet. One hydroxypropyl methylcellulose vegetable capsule corresponds to the recommended daily intake, and the pack of 120 capsules lasts for about four months.

L-cysteine is a sulphur-containing amino acid found in protein-rich foods such as eggs, meat and pulses. NAC is also a precursor to glutathione, a compound produced by the body.
