Fermented Chocolate Vegetable Protein for Recovery and Well-being — Auri Foods

Auri fermented chocolate vegetable protein is a chocolate-flavoured fermented and hydrolysed pea protein powder with 22.3g of protein per serving and naturally sourced B-complex vitamins. It can be beneficial for those who want to support their daily protein intake, muscle recovery after physical activity, and metabolic well-being, in a formula with high digestive comfort.

Fermented vegetable protein is a pea and rice protein concentrate fermented in shiitake.

Fermentation alters the protein structure, increases solubility, and drastically reduces anti-nutrients, leading to improved protein digestibility and making it an excellent source of protein.

Finding a vegetable protein that is effective, easy to digest, and pleasant to taste is no simple task. Auri Foods' Fermented and Hydrolysed Chocolate Vegetable Protein combines fermented and hydrolysed pea protein — two processes that make the protein more soluble, gentler on the digestive system, and with a more available amino acid profile. With 22.3g of protein per serving (33g), B-complex vitamins from natural inactive yeast, and 150mg of bromelain per serving, it can easily fit into the routine of those who want to increase their daily protein intake with comfort and flavour. Lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and no added sugars.

The protein base of this formula is pea protein subjected to two distinct processes: natural fermentation, which improves solubility and reduces anti-nutrients naturally present in peas; and hydrolysis, which fragments proteins into smaller peptides, facilitating their integration by the digestive system. The result is a pea protein with a complete essential amino acid profile — including BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) and arginine — and with a digestive comfort usually superior to that of conventional unprocessed vegetable proteins. Inactive dried yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) is the natural source of the eight B-complex vitamins included in the formula, in doses equivalent to 95-108% of the reference daily intake per serving. Bromelain, a plant-based enzyme extracted from pineapple, is used in supplementation for digestive well-being. The sweetener used is steviol glycoside (stevia) — with no added sugars.

✅ With 22.3g of protein per serving, it can support the maintenance and growth of muscle mass in the context of a balanced diet and regular physical activity.

✅ Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, biotin, and folate can contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal energy metabolism, and the normal functioning of the nervous system.

✅ Vitamin B6 can contribute to the normal metabolism of proteins and glycogen, complementing the protein intake of this formula.

✅ Natural inactive yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) is the source of B-complex vitamins, which can support nutritional balance in a 100% plant-based diet.

✅ Bromelain (150mg per serving), an enzyme derived from pineapple, is traditionally used for digestive well-being and can help integrate into a routine of gastrointestinal comfort.

✅ The formula is hypoallergenic, lactose-free, gluten-free, and soy-free, making it an option for those with food intolerances who want to increase their protein intake simply and consistently.

What is Auri Foods' Fermented and Hydrolyzed Chocolate Vegetable Protein for?

It is a fermented and hydrolysed pea protein powder with B vitamins and bromelain. It can support daily protein intake, recovery after physical activity and digestive well-being, being an option for vegans, lactose intolerant individuals, coeliacs and those who want to increase protein intake with digestive comfort.

Who can benefit from this supplement?

It may be useful for athletes who want to support muscle recovery and protein synthesis, people following vegetarian or vegan diets who need to supplement their protein intake, those with lactose or gluten intolerances who want a comfortable alternative, people with diabetes or undergoing weight management who want a protein source without added sugars, and also those with increased protein needs for clinical reasons.

What is the difference between fermented protein and hydrolyzed protein?

Fermentation is a natural process that improves protein solubility and reduces antinutrients (such as phytates) present in peas, increasing their biological value. Hydrolysis fragments proteins into smaller peptides, making them more easily integrated by the digestive system. The combination of both processes results in a protein with a more available amino acid profile and greater gastrointestinal comfort.
