Allergy Research Group's QuatreActiv® Folate provides folate in the Quatrefolic® form, the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF). Each vegetable capsule provides 500 µg of folate, from 925 µg of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid glucosamine salt.

According to the manufacturer, this patented form of 5-MTHF offers greater solubility and stability than the calcium salt. Folate contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal homocysteine metabolism and to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
