NOW Super Enzymes — digestive enzyme complex in capsules

NOW Foods Super Enzymes is a dietary supplement in capsules that combines, in a single dose with each main meal, enzymes of animal and plant origin with betaine HCl and ox bile extract.

Each capsule combines 10X pancreatin, which provides amylase, protease, and lipase, with bromelain from pineapple, papain from papaya, acid-stable protease, and cellulase. Amylase acts on carbohydrates, protease on proteins, and lipase on fats.

Composition per capsule

  • Betaine hydrochloride: 200 mg
  • Ox bile extract (min. 42% total cholic acids): 100 mg
  • Papaya fruit powder: 45 mg
  • Enzyme blend: 213 mg — 10X pancreatin (porcine) providing amylase 37,000 USP, protease 37,000 USP, and lipase 2,960 USP; bromelain 120 GDU; acid-stable protease 1,233 HUT; papain 100,000 FCC PU; cellulase 10 CU

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, bovine gelatin capsule (BSE-free), maltodextrin, dextrose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide. Contains sulfites.
