Liposomal Melatonin is a liquid food supplement in a 10 ml spray, in which melatonin is carried in phosphatidylcholine liposomes. According to the nutritional information, each spray provides 0.5 mg of melatonin. The formula also includes lavender and valerian oils and peppermint flavouring. It may suit those who prefer a liquid format for sublingual application instead of capsules or tablets.

Ingredients

  • Melatonin — 0.5 mg per spray; a molecule naturally produced by the body and associated with the day-night cycle.
  • Phosphatidylcholine (from soy) — a phospholipid that forms the structure of the liposomes.
  • Lavender oil — an aromatic essential oil extracted from lavender flowers.
  • Valerian oil — oil obtained from valerian, a plant of traditional European use.
  • Peppermint oil — used as flavouring.

Also contains water, glycerine, alcohol (solvent), sunflower oil and alpha-tocopherol (antioxidant). Suitable for vegetarians and vegans; free from gluten and lactose. Contains soy.
