Perguntas frequentes
Are all of these products vegan certified?
They are identified as suitable for a vegan diet based on manufacturer information.
Which nutrients deserve more attention in a plant-based diet?
Vitamin B12, first and foremost, because almost all dietary sources are of animal origin. Then iron, zinc, iodine, calcium, vitamin D, and long-chain omega-3 fatty acids. The correct approach involves assessing one's usual diet and, when indicated, through tests — not a generic list.
Is vitamin D3 vegan?
It depends on the source. Conventional D3 (cholecalciferol) is obtained from lanolin, sheep's wool fat, and is not vegan. There are versions of D3 extracted from lichens, which are of plant origin. D2 (ergocalciferol) has a fungal origin. Always check the label for indications.
